step 1 - shaping and cutting

Dopo la sgrossatura preliminare, ho posto la sagoma in scala 1:1 disegnata al cad dal mio fedele designer fede e di seguito tagliata al seghetto alternativo. Lasciando un margine di 4-5 mm dalla linea di ricalco, ho proceduto a eliminare i pezzi eccedenti e a carteggiare lievemente i bordi. Ora la parte più complessa è nel dare la simmetria tridimensionale alla foam, che sebbene nella forma 2d risulta ben simmetrica, quella della smussatura del bordo, la definizione del TUE eccetera, ha bisogno di un gran colpo d'occhio, al di là del calibro e del centimetro!

La carta abrasiva utilizzata è la 100 inizialmente, e 300 poi in seguito, fino alla 400 per le ultime pennellate. Tempo di realizzazione della sagoma finale prima del lavoro di finitura per simmetria: 2 ore circa.
